These Hackmanite crystals come from Koksha Valley in Afghanistan, which is known for the highest quality available of this rare material. It is a form of UV reactive sodalite that exhibits the unique characteristic of changing color in the sunlight. These raw Hackmanite crystals are some of the highest, most saturated grade I've come across and exhibit excellent tenebrescence (color change in UV light) and range of deep purple colors. These rare stones may contain milky white inclusions or other mineral inclusions. Each specimen will glow with a colorful, saturated brilliance when under a black light.
