Ammonite Specimen ~
These fully intact Ammonite shell fossils have a sandy coloring and small spots on their surface with a very slight luster. They exhibit ridges along the outside of their classically curved, spiral shape. When handled, they leave behind a dusty residue, a natural characteristic of these raw fossils.
This listing is for ONE (1) intuitively chosen crystal. Each piece has been handpicked and examined for quality. The photography used is a representation of our collection, the unique specimen you receive will be similar to the stones pictured and will have its own individual traits.
The Ammonite is a shelled nautilus that was part of a now extinct group of invertebrate marine animals. It is a beautiful example of the Fibonacci spiral exhibiting itself in nature, as in the classic nautilus shell. They sometimes grow with a beautiful opalized sheen around the outside of the shell.
