Ammonite Specimen ~

A beautiful example of the Fibonacci spiral exhibiting itself in nature, the Ammonite is a shelled nautilus that was part of a now extinct group of invertebrate marine animals. These partial to full Ammonite fossils exhibit deep ridges and the classic spiral. Due to the nature of these raw fossils, they have calcium on their surface and may have minor abrasions.
