Ammonite Specimen ~
A beautiful example of the Fibonacci spiral exhibiting itself in nature, the Ammonite is a shelled nautilus that was part of a now extinct group of invertebrate marine animals. These Ammonite fossils exhibit a sandy tan coloring with very slight opalization on their surfaces. Each specimen measures between 2.5 and 3 inches.
