Angel Chime Moldavite Specimen ~
Angel Chimes are a special type of impact glass, named after the angelic sound they make. These tektites have a high internal tension caused by a quick cooling process. This high tension creates a strong vibration in the impact glass. By gently tapping these special tektites against glass, metal, or another crystal, you can hear them sing! This specimen is raw and exhibits classic pitting and a glowing green translucence. It measures approximately 22mm by 20mm and weighs 3.16 grams.
