This Moldavite tektite has a classic green translucence. Angel Chimes are a special type of impact glass, named after the angelic sound that they make. These tektites have a high internal tension caused by a quick cooling process. This high tension creates a strong vibration in the impact glass. By gently tapping these special tektites against glass, metal, or another crystal, you can hear them sing! This specimen measures approximately 27mm 5mm by 2mm and weighs .36 grams.
I absolutely love working with Moldavite!
