Bixbite, often referred to on the market as "Red Emerald" is a red variety of Beryl that is extremely rare and gets its coloring from containing Manganese ions. This natural gemstone, from the Wah Wah Mountain in Utah, is in its raw form with shining facets and a juicy magenta coloring. This specimen measures 6mm by 5mm by 5mm and weighs 1.2 carats.
