Bixbite, often referred to on the market as "Red Emerald" is a red variety of Beryl that is extremely rare and gets its coloring from containing Manganese ions. This unique gemstone, from the Wah Wah Mountain in Utah, is in its raw form with natural termination and a juicy magenta coloring. This specimen measures 4mm by 4mm by 3mm and weighs .55 carats.
