This Colombian quartz features delicate blue amphibole inclusions, appearing as soft, smoky wisps suspended within the crystal. Often referred to as Blue Needle Quartz or Blue Smoke, these inclusions shift with the light, revealing flashes of blue-toned chatoyancy at just the right angle. The internal formations range from fine, needle-like structures to feathered, wing-like patterns, giving each piece a sense of movement and depth.
This specimen also shows small bridge formations extending from the main point, where secondary crystals have grown attached to the host during formation. This specimen measures approximately 84mm by 54mm and weighs 62.5 grams
