This crystal is from a well-known find from the Jenipapo Mining District in Itinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil. This location is famous for its past production of these Quartz crystals filled with needle-like Blue Tourmaline inclusions. These days, when the mining has halted, old collections have become the best source for these rare crystal delicacies. This translucent Quartz crystal has a rough backside and a terminated face, showcasing distinct dark blue inclusions within its milky translucence. This specimen measures approximately 66mm by 32mm and weighs 31 grams.
