*OLD STOCK* Blue Tourmaline in Quartz Specimen ~
This crystal is from a well-known find from the Jenipapo Mining District in Itinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil. This location is famous for its past production of these Quartz crystals filled with needle-like Blue Tourmaline inclusions. These days, when the mining has halted, old collections have become the best source for these rare crystal delicacies. This chunky Quartz crystal exhibits etched lines and termination on its face with striking dark blue inclusions within its milky translucence. This specimen measures approximately 48mm by 35mm and weighs 53 grams.
