Cassiterite, derived from the Greek word "kassiteros" (meaning "tin"), is also known as Tinstone. These Cassiterite crystals from Namibia are freeform shapes and have been tumbled to a soft polish. The exhibit marbled neutral colors with a slight yellow coloring from the presence of tin. Each specimen measures between .5 inches and .75 inches.
