These high quality raw stones each have a sparkling grouping of Canvansite that grows in a radial spray and has a vibrant, saturated blue and set on a matrix stone. Every one of these specimens is unique and will have its own shape and character. Cavansite is a delicate crystal, but your specimen will live a long life if handled gently. In the last decade, the city has expanded around the Cavansite mines in Poona, India; now buildings have been constructed so close to the mines that the city has closed down mining operations for the foreseeable future. This material is quickly becoming scarce and we are happy to offer high quality, authentic raw Cavansite.
