Darwinite Specimen ~
Darwinite is an Impactite Glass from Tasmania, formed from a meteoric impact and explosion. This fascinating grey-black material is a must-have for the rare tektite and impactite glass collector. These chunky tektites have a cloudy, dark grey coloring and may reveal a very slight, chartreuse tone when backlit. Each specimen weighs approximately between 6 grams and 12 grams.
