Datolite, named from the Greek term "dateishai" which means "to divide", is a borosilicate mineral. This chunky Datolite crystal from Primorsky Krai exhibits a chartreuse gemminess and has shining, natural facets and etchings on its raw surface. This specimen measures 37mm by 32mm and weighs 38.9 grams.
