Datolite, named from the Greek term "dateishai" which means "to divide", is a borosilicate mineral. This Datolite crystal from Primorsky Krai exhibits a light green gemminess and has shining, natural facets and light etchings on its raw surface. This specimen measures 35mm by 29mm by 14mm and weighs 22 grams.
