Datolite, named from the Greek term "dateishai" which means "to divide", is a borosilicate mineral. This chunky Datolite crystal from Primorsky Krai exhibits a chartreuse gemminess with shining, natural facets and etchings on its raw surface. This specimen measures 43mm by 30mm by 24mm and weighs 52 grams.
