Grandidierite, named after French explorer Alfred Grandidier, was originally discovered in Madagascar in 1902. This incredibly rare gem has a curious energy - it immediately relieves stress and enhances intuition, often encouraging creativity and spiritual exploration. Grandidierite is known for being trichroic, meaning that it can appear to be a different color at a different angle.
