These Hackmanite stones are in their raw form, displaying a lilac purple coloring and glowing with a colorful, saturated brilliance when under a black light - a rare quality in the mineral kingdom! I will hand select a crystal and nestle it inside of a silver plated cage. Our plated cages are custom made for us and finished with a Rhodium like plating that extends the longevity of the piece. Like with any plated piece of jewelry, the finish on this piece can fade over time, and we recommend taking this pendant off for showering and sleeping. These pendants are securely closed and cannot be opened to have access to the stone inside. Each pendant measures approximately 30mm by 12mm. We offer an approximately 19 inch stainless steel chain that pairs perfectly with these pendants.

These Hackmanite crystals come from Koksha Valley in Afghanistan, which is known for the highest quality available of this rare material. It is a form of UV reactive sodalite that has another unique characteristic of changing color in the sunlight! These can change color when exposed to UV rays and will take around a week to return to their more milky color tone.
