This Herkimer Diamond Quartz twin crystal was mined from the Herkimer, New York area. It showcases shining facets and naturally terminated points, classic to this material. It's clear translucence illuminates when backlit, creating a strong glow. A naturally formed twin is two crystals that grew side-by-side, joined at the base and interlocked. They are rare formations that beautifully capture the idea of two distinct beings growing together while keeping their own shape. This specimen has abrasions from the mining process but retains multiple natural facets that have a natural shine and rainbow inclusions. It measures approximately 76mm by 45mm and weighs 151.81 grams.
