Hyalite Opal on Smoky Quartz Specimen ~
I am letting just a few more of these gorgeous Erongo Mountain region specimens from Namibia! These are a collector's dream, with VIVID inclusions of Hyalite Opal on terminated Smoky Quartz crystals. Each of these specimens have been high graded for their natural crystal faces and exhibit distinct Hyalite inclusions that will glow under an ultraviolet light.
Each MEDIUM option measures between 1.5 inches and 2 inches in length.
Each LARGE option measures between 2 inches and 2.5 inches in length.

Hyalite contains trace amounts of uranium within its silica structure, causing it to glow with a colorful, saturated brilliance when under a black light - a rare quality in the mineral kingdom! Some specimens will have some area of grape-like botryoidal growth and all will range in translucence with clear to milky or gold coloring.
