Hyalite Opal Specimen from Namibia ~
These high quality specimens are mined in the Erongo Mountain region specimens from Namibia. These are a collector's dream, with VIVID inclusions of Hyalite Opal set on a range of minerals, including Smoky Quartz, milky Quartz and Cleavelandite that will glow under an ultraviolet light!
This listing is for ONE (1) intuitively chosen crystal. Each piece has been handpicked and examined for quality. The photography used is a representation of our collection, the unique specimen you receive will be similar to the stones pictured and will have its own individual traits. Specimens categorized by weight don’t have specific size measurements provided, as each piece has a different shape and mass.
Hyalite contains trace amounts of uranium within its silica structure, causing it to glow with a colorful, saturated brilliance when under a black light - a rare quality in the mineral kingdom! Some specimens will have some area of grape-like botryoidal growth and all will range in translucence with clear to milky or gold coloring.
