This standout specimen from the Erongo Mountain region of Namibia includes botryoidal inclusions of UV reactive Hyalite Opal embedded within a terminated Smoky Quartz. This crystal glows with a colorful, saturated brilliance when under a black light - a rare quality in the mineral kingdom. The Hyalite will appear colorless under natural lighting and the terminated Smoky Quartz has a grey translucence with a matte finish.
