Hyalite is a special, colorless variety of Opal that grows in volcanic formations. This gemmy Hyalite Opal specimen from Mexico has a vivid green glow when exposed to UV rays and remains translucent in incandescent light. This specimen showcases distinctly botryoidal (bubbling, grape-like) growth with a glowing translucence and has a sliced base - making it a perfect display piece. This specimen measures 50 x 40 x 30 millimeters and weighs 81.70 grams.
