These Iolite crystals are raw and exhibit a beautiful translucence when held up to the light.

Each X-SMALL option weighs between .3 and .5 grams.
Each SMALL option weighs between .5 grams and 1 gram.
Each MEDIUM option weighs between 1 gram and 2 grams.
Each LARGE option weighs between 2 grams and 3 grams.
Each X-LARGE option weighs between 3 grams and 4 grams.

Pictures looked more brilliant than the stone I received. However, I prefer this raw version of iolite to the tumbled stone I also purchased. Back-lit, it is quite stunning, but I rarely stare into the sun with my crystals as my only lens.
