Product Description
Irgizite Sterling Silver Pendant ~
These Irgizite specimens have black coloring with textured surfaces, exhibiting unique pitting or swooped striations that are classis to this material. Each tektite has been custom created into a sturdy piece of jewelry using .925 Sterling Silver. Each pendant measures approximately 15mm by 7mm - these measurements are meant to give a general idea of size; the actual dimensions of the pendant you receive may vary slightly. The silver chain used in the photos is to help envision how this pendant will look while adorned but is not included in the listing.
This listing is for ONE (1) intuitively chosen crystal pendant. Each piece has been handpicked and examined for quality. The photography used is a representation of our collection, the unique specimen you receive will be similar to the stones pictured and will have its own individual traits.
Irgizite, a rare black tektite, was formed during an asteroid strike 900,000 years ago. When the meteor, Zhamanshin, struck Kazakhstan near a small village known as Irgiz, the molten material hardened into the tektites that we cherish today. Irgizites are known for the small droplet-like bumps on their surface, a trait unique from other tektites, and for their protective energy.
