Meteor Shower Sunstone is a rare Tanzanian feldspar prized for displaying optical phenomena including both the glittering aventurescence associated with sunstone and the soft, luminous sheen often seen in moonstone. This unique combination gives the stone its distinctive "meteor shower" appearance. When held at an angle they showcase shimmering adularescence, a classic trait of this material, and contain distinct rainbow inclusions that glitter in the light. These specimens have rounded freeform shapes and weigh between 8 and 12 grams.
