These unique native copper formations are created through the copper sculpture-making process using natural copper from Michigan. Molten copper, heated to approximately 2,300°F, is poured into water-soaked straw, creating fascinating organic shapes as the copper cools and solidifies. The straw burns away, leaving behind intricate textures, unusual formations, and beautiful metallic details. Each piece is completely unique, with its own natural shape and character. These smaller copper formations are wonderful for mineral collections, artistic displays, and anyone who appreciates the beauty of native copper.
