Midnight Lace Obsidian Specimen ~
A much newer find in the gem world, Midnight Lace Obsidian has only been found in two places on the earth and are only available in specimen form from a single locale - Armenia. Though these Obsidian look black and opaque at first glance, these unique specimens have layers of translucence and dense black bands, creating an array of patterns when backlit. Some specimens have many layers and some have just a few thick or thin layers - each one is gorgeous and unique! Every Midnight Lace Black Obsidian crystal has been polished to a high sheen.
Each SMALL measures between .5 and .75 inches in length.
Each MEDIUM Tumbled Stone measures between .75 and 1 inch in length.
Each PALM STONE measures approximately 1.25 inches in diameter with a flattened shape.
