Moldavite OR Libyan Desert Glass Chip Jar - Single or Multiple Chips ~

This listing is for ONE (1) Glass Jar with Tektite Chips. These authentic Tektite chips are set into a glass jar and secured with a cork top. The teardrop shaped jars are made of blown glass with a small cork that can be removed to have access to the chips. Each jar measures approximately 30mm by 15mm. *The glass jars are fragile and should be handled with care!

The LDG (Libyan Desert Glass) Chip Jar will include a half of a gram of authentic Libyan Desert Glass chips.
The MOLDAVITE Chip Jar will include a half of a gram of small authentic Moldavite chips, ranging in size and color.

Each of the Moldavite jars are hand curated and filled with Moldavite specimens with a range of green coloring and finishes. Some Moldavite specimens have a glassy finish and some have a velvety finish. There is a beautiful and massive range of variety in the surface texture of this rare material, each piece is unique and has its own individual look. These authentic tektites come directly from the Czech Republic. The teardrop shaped jars are made of blown glass with a small cork that we place on the top, but it can be removed to have access to the chips. *The glass jars are fragile and to be handled with care!

**As of late 2020 and continuing into 2021, the Moldavite market has changed drastically - becoming scarce in quality and quantity. The industry is aflutter right now with questions of what it means for the future of its availability. The mining operations in the Moldavite fields of Czech Republic have slowed due to government intervention, pandemic restrictions, and seasonal availability.
