Calcite Specimen ~
Optical Calcite is known for its natural, optical properties. When light passes through these translucent stones, double refraction occurs splitting one ray of light into two. These raw, rhomboidal crystals have a clear translucence with a possible light golden hue and exhibit classic optic effects. Each specimen measures approximately 1 inch.
