This raw Zincite specimen from Poland exhibits an excellent termination and orange-brown coloring. Some small areas of this specimen glow with a colorful, saturated brilliance when under a black light. This crystal was custom created into a sturdy piece of jewelry using .925 Sterling Silver. This pendant measures approximately 26mm by 9mm. The silver chain used in the photos is to help envision how this pendant will look while adorned but is not included in the listing.
Zincite is a byproduct of industrial zinc smelting, formed when zinc ore is processed at high temperatures. These crystals are not naturally occurring in this form and are most famously sourced from historic smelting operations in Poland. This piece is old stock, originating from those early Polish production sites.
