Orthoceras Fossil Specimen ~
Orthoceras, an ancient relative of the nautilus, thrived in Earth’s oceans before vanishing 200 million years ago. With their slender, elongated shells - grown layer by layer - they stand as a testament to one of the most intelligent marine beings of their age. Today, their legacy endures in fossils often discovered within limestone deposits, offering us both scientific insight and spiritual connection. Each completely unique, these Moroccan specimens showcase intricate patterns created by fossilized Orthoceras embedded within Limestone. These fossils have domed fronts with a smooth polish with cut, unpolished backsides. Each specimen measures 1 inch and up.
This listing is for ONE (1) intuitively chosen crystal. Each piece has been handpicked and examined for quality. The photography used is a representation of our collection, the unique specimen you receive will be similar to the stones pictured and will have its own individual traits.
