Amethyst Double Terminated Carving ~
This Amethyst crystal from Madagascar has been carved and polished to a high sheen. It has deep purple coloring zoning and illuminates with a bright translucence when backlit. It contains small abrasions on its surface. This specimen measures approximately 70mm by 29mm by 23mm and weighs 80 grams.
