Citrine truly holds that positive energy, never absorbing the negative, so it keeps a very clean and clear charge. A lot of the orange tinted citrine you see available has been heat treated - heated up to change the color of the stone. Natural citrines are much rarer and often have a distinct hue to their yellow tint. This crystal is completely natural and have not been treated in any way.
