This 16.52 gram raw, green-blue Vivianite specimen from Bolivia has translucence and vivid coloring with pleochroism. It is attached to a matrix of botryoidal chalcedony. This fragile specimen is just 1.5-2 on the hardness scale, so it is quite fragile and to be handled with care. It will retain its coloring best out of direct sunlight, as the iron content can tarnish and darken the color in the sun. It measures approximately 90 x 20 x 15 millimeters.
